To add a folder
- If the Mail window is not open, choose Mail from the Windows menu.
- From the Mail menu, choose New Mail Folder.
- Type a name for the new folder.
- Click OK.
Tip
- To rename a folder, select it, and then choose Rename Mail Folder from the Mail menu.

To move a message to a folder
- In the mail preview pane, select the mail message you want to move.
- From the Message menu, point to Move Message To, and select the folder you want to move the message to from the pop-up menu.
Tips
- You cannot move any messages into or out of the Outbox folder.
- You can also drag a message from the preview pane to a folder.
- To save a news message for later reading, move it to one of the mail folders.
- To select and move more than one message, hold down the Shift key while selecting messages.

To rename a folder
- Select the folder you want to rename.
- From the Mail menu, choose Rename Mail Folder.
- Type a new name for the folder.
- Click OK.
Note
- You can only rename custom folders and Help folders.
